The Christian development and formation of our children has always been a key element of our ministry and mission dating back to the Bethel Academy of the early 19th century.
Our Sunday School has developed our own rotation model of teaching that emphasizes the different learning styles of each student. Each group is cared for by a talented and dedicated corps of competent teachers and aides.
On Sunday morning, our children enter Noah’s Ark as they climb the stairs to their classes. Within the Ark surrounded by animals, the children may enter a market, a theater, a nomad’s tent, or a submarine computer lab.
Unlike other rotation models which run for three years, ours adds a fourth in which the students follow the missionary journeys of Paul.
Bethel Presbyterian Church takes seriously the welfare and safety of both our students and teachers, and to that end, everyone working with our children becomes a part of our Child Protection Covenant.
